Learning the abstract principles of the communities of practice that the panorama draws from, e.g. Kaizen, waterfall, and agile, will take some time. However, knowing these in depth is not essential to begin with, and the panorama assists you in getting to know them, specifically by notes and advice under the "Act" rubric,
What will be the most challenging is learning practical project know-how the abstract constructs of these communities, by way action research in your real world. Along with project constructs, Real world project know-how involves, along with project constructs, interpersonal and time management skills. While growing project know-how is the most challenging kind of learning, it is also the most rewarding, by far.
