It is simple. We offer two services only, both based on sessions of 1:1 talk about one hour long. This service – our Cogent Language Exchange™ – is free. It is one session of about an hour. 

Our other service – Cogent Language Mentoring™ – is a package of 10 sessions. Its cost is USD $ 200. 

Note that the mentoring package is only available by mutual agreement after a Cogent Language Exchange.

The talk will be informal, confidential, wide-ranging, and friendly. It will take about an hour.   In that timeframe, we will develop actionable ideas on growing project know-how for your career going forward. 

Cogent Language Exchange™ serves you as a way to sample the vibe of Cogent Language mentoring and test its fitness to your career. Honestly, because there is only one mentor (me/Dan)  and a couple of different programs - Exchange™and Mentoring™.  There are more slots for Mentoring. 

Operationally, Cogent Language is more like an open mike event or a small jazz club.  This business model doesn’t scale, I know, and there are no plans for Cogent Language to expand. However, arena rock and asset accumulation are not the reasons for its being. Cogent Language exists for the quality of co-creation, the learning and its application on both sides of the see-saw, the “art”, if you will, of cogent language, 

The agenda for this talk is largely yours. Prepare to lead a lot of it based on your own project career interests and concerns.  That said, please also prepare to discuss one important complete (or terminated) team project, one of which you were a team member from start to finish. We will call this your “project in focus”. We will use it as a way to consider your team project experience and know-how in some depth.
