Coaching Themes

Career

Wayfinding

Intrapreneurship, career change, entrepreneurship,

The theme here is your whole career, The orientation is big picture, wide-ranging, friendly, confidential. Session agendas are yours, as much as you want them to be. No structure, or a lot of it, as long as structure comes from you. Talk about current team or tech concerns, if you like. Then go on to emerging project know-how and career opportunities, or to your ideals, and strategic plans. Wherever you want to go, I aim to be your conscientious student and caring mentor, and, for going forward, I will offer some cogent language.

Speaking

Speaking for Your Projects

Turn-taking – Short/long; planned/unplanned.

When your turns fit, you contribute. When they don’t, collaboration happens around you. Don’t let it! Instead, listen hard, share information, build relationships, and contribute to achieving project team purposes in every turn. Drive projects forward by your speaking – in meetings, strands of small talk, presentations, and negotiation. Become a better advocate for your ideas, team, and projects.

Design

Modeling Systems

Facilitation, systems analysis and design, walkthrus.

Facilitating cross-functional design work has become an essential project know-how. This is knowing how to co-create models of products, services, organizations, and policies with diverse others. Not mainly a UX design skill, rather, it depends on agenda management and collaboration over time, systems thinking, and the capacity to walkthru design work products.
